For a Signal and Power Integrity (ECEN 430) course, we were given a schematic used for a commercial Arduino board to edit in PADS Pro Designer:

The goal of this project was to improve the power integrity of the board. I added some capacitors to the schematic, and also changed some capacitance values of existing capacitors:

Here is the PCB layout I completed in PADS Professional:

This design helped to decrease rail collapse, ground bounce, impedance, and loop inductance:
